Ingredients
Scale
1.5 lb sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season them lightly with salt and pepper.
Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt until it foams slightly.
Add half of the steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steak and set it aside. Repeat with another tablespoon of butter and the remaining steak.
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet.
Add the minced garlic and smoked paprika to the melted butter. Cook for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant. Do not let the garlic burn.
Return all the cooked steak bites to the skillet. Toss quickly to coat the steak in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for 1 minute to heat through.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
For the best sear, make sure your skillet is hot before adding the first batch of steak.
If you are making this as a 15-minute keto steak recipe, skip adding any sugar or flour to the sauce.
You can cook these in an air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes if you prefer air fryer steak bites with garlic butter.
