Easy set-and-forget pulled pork with BBQ sauce, perfect for meal prep and freezer storage.

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Rub the spice mix all over the pork shoulder.
  3. Place the pork in the slow cooker and add chicken broth.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Shred the pork with forks and stir in BBQ sauce.
  6. Serve on buns or store for later.
