A simple, no-bake recipe for chewy and delicious Rice Krispie treats, perfect for a quick dessert or a fun snack for kids.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 ounces) marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into a 9×13 inch pan lined with parchment paper or greased.
  6. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla extract with the marshmallows.
  • Press the mixture into the pan using a buttered spatula or wax paper to prevent sticking.
