  • 1 pan of your favorite brownies, baked and cooled
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Prepare your favorite batch of brownies and let them cool completely.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add more milk, a teaspoon at a time, if needed to reach a drizzling consistency.
  3. Transfer the icing to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with a small corner snipped off.
  4. Pipe thin, overlapping lines of icing across the top of each brownie to resemble mummy bandages. Leave a small space for the eyes.
  5. Place two candy eyes on each brownie, peeking out from the icing bandages.
  6. Allow the icing to set before serving.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought brownie mix for a quick base.
  • Adjust the icing consistency by adding more powdered sugar to thicken or more milk to thin.
  • For a different flavor, add a drop of almond extract to the icing.
