Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Place tuna steaks in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour marinade over the tuna, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove tuna from marinade and pat dry.
  6. Grill or sear for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Notes

  • For best results, let the tuna sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.
  • Use fresh citrus juice for the brightest flavor.
  • Do not marinate for more than 1 hour, as the acid can start to cook the fish.
