Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry using a paper towel. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Aim for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh lemon slices if desired before serving.
Notes
For extra moisture, you can wrap the salmon loosely in foil packets before baking.
If you are planning your meals for the week, this recipe pairs well with simple sides like roasted asparagus or rice pilaf. This is a great alternative to using meal planning services.
Do not overcook the salmon; check for doneness at the 12-minute mark to keep it tender.
