A quick and creamy mac and cheese made in the Instant Pot, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add macaroni, water, and salt to the Instant Pot.
  2. Close the lid and set to manual pressure for 4 minutes.
  3. Quick release the pressure when done.
  4. Stir in butter, cheese, milk, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting.
  • Add a pinch of mustard powder for extra flavor.
