Ingredients
Scale
1 (8-10 pound) fully cooked spiral-cut ham
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Place the ham cut-side down on a rack in a roasting pan.
In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, pineapple juice, honey, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved and the glaze is smooth.
Brush about half of the glaze over the ham.
Bake for 1 hour, brushing with the remaining glaze every 20 minutes.
If you desire a more deeply caramelized glaze, you can increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) for the last 15-20 minutes of baking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For an extra festive look, you can stud the ham with whole cloves in a diamond pattern before glazing.
This recipe is designed to reheat a pre-cooked ham, ensuring it stays moist and flavorful.
Consider serving with a side of pineapple rings or maraschino cherries during the last 30 minutes of baking for added color and flavor.
