- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños
- Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and bell pepper. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Spread the refried beans over the chips.
- Spoon the seasoned ground beef mixture over the beans.
- Sprinkle both cheeses evenly over the beef.
