Make-ahead freezer bags with pre-portioned fruit and protein for quick and easy smoothies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 scoop protein powder

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a resealable freezer bag.
  2. Remove excess air and seal tightly.
  3. Freeze for up to 3 months.
  4. To blend, empty contents into a blender with 1 cup liquid (water, milk, or juice).
  5. Blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Use lemon juice to prevent browning of bananas.
  • Label bags with dates and ingredients.
  • For thicker smoothies, add ice before blending.
