  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pepperoni
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, oregano, and garlic powder.
  3. Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni.
  4. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, and olive oil. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup halfway. Add 1 tsp pizza sauce to each muffin, then top with more batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
