Make these sweet and salty crockpot peanut clusters using just four simple ingredients. This no-bake slow cooker candy is perfect for holiday trays and homemade gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag peanut butter chips
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 (10 ounce) jar creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the inside of a small slow cooker (2-quart size works well).
  2. Combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and creamy peanut butter in the slow cooker.
  3. Cook on LOW for one hour, stirring every 20 minutes until the mixture is smooth and completely melted. Do not overcook.
  4. Stir in the dry roasted peanuts until they are evenly coated with the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto parchment paper or wax paper laid on baking sheets.
  6. Let the clusters set at room temperature for about 3 hours, or place them in the refrigerator for 1 hour to speed up the setting process.
  7. Store your homemade candy gifts in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For a festive look, you can sprinkle coarse sea salt or holiday sprinkles over the clusters immediately after dropping them onto the paper.
  • If you want a firmer candy, substitute half of the peanut butter chips with almond bark or vanilla coating chips.
  • This recipe is excellent for making large batches for Christmas candy making or cookie exchanges.
