Make delicious, tender meatballs in your slow cooker with minimal effort. Perfect for parties, game days, or a simple weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen cooked meatballs
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup grape jelly

Instructions

  1. Combine barbecue sauce and grape jelly in your slow cooker. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the frozen meatballs to the slow cooker. Stir to coat them evenly with the sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or on high for 1-1.5 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbly.
  4. Stir occasionally if possible, especially during the last hour of cooking.
  5. Serve hot directly from the slow cooker.

Notes

  • For a thinner sauce, add a tablespoon or two of water.
  • For a thicker sauce, remove the lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • You can substitute chili sauce for barbecue sauce for a different flavor profile.
  • These meatballs are great served with toothpicks for easy appetizer serving.
  • Consider this a simple alternative to some meal planning services for busy nights.
