Crispy breaded chicken tenders cooked quickly in the air fryer without deep frying for a healthier option.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs and water.
  4. Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the tenders with cooking oil before air frying.
  • Use gluten-free panko if needed.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
