A quick 20-minute pasta dish with bright citrus and a silky Parmesan-cream sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add Parmesan, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth.
  5. Toss in cooked pasta and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, swap heavy cream with Greek yogurt.
  • Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
