Ingredients
Scale
1 cup Mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Sweet Pickle Relish
1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard
1 teaspoon White Vinegar
1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Pinch of Salt
Instructions
Gather all your ingredients in a medium bowl.
Add the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, sugar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt to the bowl.
Stir all ingredients together until the sauce is completely smooth and uniform in color.
Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed; add a little more vinegar for tang or sugar for sweetness.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving. This chilling time allows the flavors to blend for the best taste.
Use this easy special sauce generously on your burgers, fries, or sandwiches.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, you can substitute regular sweet relish with dill pickle relish and add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of sugar.
This sauce is excellent as a dressing for salads or a quick dipping sauce for french fries.
Make a larger batch; this pantry staple sauce recipe keeps well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
