Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza crust
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border for the crust.
  4. Distribute the shredded chicken over the barbecue sauce.
  5. Scatter the sliced red onion and chopped cilantro over the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle both the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses evenly over the toppings.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For an extra smoky flavor, you can grill the chicken before shredding it.
  • If you don’t have pre-made pizza crust, you can use your favorite homemade pizza dough.
  • Feel free to add other toppings you enjoy, such as corn or jalapeños.
  • This recipe is a great alternative to traditional pizza and can be a fun meal planning option.
