A cheesy, easy-to-make pasta casserole perfect for weeknight dinners. Feeds a crowd and can be prepared ahead.

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, then drain.
  3. Brown ground beef in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  4. Mix cooked spaghetti, beef, marinara sauce, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Spread half the spaghetti mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Layer ricotta cheese evenly over the spaghetti, then top with remaining spaghetti mixture.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.

  • Add sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
