Make this ultimate no-bake Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle for your next gathering. It layers rich chocolate cake, creamy cheesecake mousse, and Baileys Irish Cream for a decadent, easy-to-assemble dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed (about 20 cookies)
  • 1 box (about 10 ounces) pre-made chocolate cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream, for drizzling
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Beat in 1/2 cup of Baileys Irish Cream until fully combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. This is your creamy cheesecake layer.
  3. Prepare the cookie layer: Mix the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with 1/4 cup of Baileys Irish Cream until the crumbs are evenly moistened.
  4. Assemble the trifle: In a large glass trifle bowl, create the first layer using half of the moistened cookie crumbs. Press lightly.
  5. Add half of the cubed chocolate cake over the cookie layer.
  6. Spread half of the creamy cheesecake mixture evenly over the cake layer.
  7. Repeat the layers: Add the remaining cookie crumbs, followed by the remaining chocolate cake cubes, and top with the remaining cheesecake mixture.
  8. Chill the trifle for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to set.
  9. Before serving, garnish the top generously with chocolate shavings. Drizzle any remaining Baileys over the top if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute the pre-made chocolate cake with brownies or chocolate pound cake for a different texture.
  • For a quicker assembly, use store-bought chocolate frosting instead of making the full cheesecake layer; just mix the frosting with the Baileys and whipped topping.
  • If you are serving this to children or guests who avoid alcohol, substitute the Baileys with milk mixed with a drop of almond extract for flavor.
