A comforting, old-fashioned dessert ready in under an hour. Perfect for weeknight or holiday meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix apples, granulated sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Spread in a baking dish.
  3. Combine flour, oats, and brown sugar in another bowl. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • Use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples for the best texture.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
