Ingredients
Scale
1 pound shelf-stable or refrigerated gnocchi
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Place the gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary to achieve crispiness.
Drizzle the gnocchi with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat.
Set your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
Check the gnocchi; they should be golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Transfer the crispy gnocchi to a bowl. Immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and toss to coat.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve immediately as a snack or side dish.
Notes
You can use frozen gnocchi, but you may need to add 2-3 minutes to the total cook time.
For extra flavor, toss the cooked gnocchi with 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning along with the Parmesan cheese.
This recipe works well as a base for a quick dinner; toss the finished gnocchi with pesto or marinara sauce.
